Welcome

Hello, my name is Mandie Fowler. I started teaching in 1999 and the past 23 years have truly flown by! I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from FSU, and taught for most of my career at the same school my great grandparents attended. I finished my school-level career as a guidance counselor and spent my final year as the 2021Teacher of the Year for Liberty County School District, and have invested the Florida bonus in my education. I am currently working on my Specialist degree from American College of Education. I was hired as the District Director of Curriculum & Instruction in February and spent the spring job shadowing. I am married to my best friend Jason, and we have two children that we are incredibly proud of-Eric is a Game Warden, and Sally is an RN. We also recently added a Daughter-In-Law, Jolee, who's a BSN. I also spend lots of time with my God Daughters, their mom passed away a few years ago, and they are all our hearts (the baby is the model for many of the photos on this blog). We have a house full of dogs and a yard full of chickens. I enjoy distance running, traveling, and reading fantasy. Check out my Instagram feed for all our latest adventures.
